Get to Know Aaron
Your decision to seek out support can come from so many places. Whatever led you to reach out now, I appreciate your courage. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings and bring a wealth of tools and experience that comes from seeing all levels of mental health concerns.
I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology from UW Whitewater in 2010 before starting my career working as a job coach for individuals with developmental disabilities. This work provided an array of opportunities and joy, but also ignited a desire to return for my Masters to pursue counseling and deeper levels of support that I could offer.
I graduated from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Masters in Clinical Counseling and returned to Wisconsin to work on the inpatient unit at the VA Hospital in Madison, WI while obtaining training hours. I have held my Professional Counselor (LPC) license since 2017 where I have worked in Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and Integrated Care settings in the Madison, WI area.
Family is most important in my life and my world revolves around my wife, 2 young children and our dog. I have a passion for reading and enjoy fantasy and science fiction series. I am a fan of just about any Wisconsin sports team. I also enjoy board game nights with friends and participate in Dungeons and Dragons campaigns when time allows!
